The area was once known as Gildenaver Ford and a social club has stood in this area since 1879.  It was originally known as Eccles Liberal Club, but changed it’s status to welcome all (regardless of political stature), many years ago.  The original building was demolished to make way for the M602, back in the 1970’s, and the new building, the current Gilda Brook Club is now situated on Wellington Road.

Still proud to serve the community as a great venue choice for a variety of social occasions or simply just a convenient meeting place, for a friendly pint or a glass of wine.

At the heart of every community, there should be a focal point where family and friends can gather.  At Gilda Brook, we want to fulfill this purpose.  It’s our job to ensure that all those that visit, (either as Members or Guests) leave our club with fond memories and want to return again and again.

Friendly & Professional Staff

‘Fond memories’ can sometimes be as simple as recalling the way in which you were greeted and served by our staff.  We pride ourselves at the Gilda Brook by employing a professional, hardworking and personable team.

You’ll always be greeted with a cheerful smile!
